How We Do It

Take a look at our ten step Instalation process for fascias, soffits and gutters, complete with rodent guard and ventilation. Please click on the images to enlarge them.

Step 1
First of all we remove the gutters and first row of roof tiles.
Step 2
Then we cut back the felt to where it's good and completely remove the fascias and soffits so all you are left with is the rafter ends.
Step 3
Once we've completely striped your old roofline we then fix new rafter feet using 18mm PVC-u so it will not rot or deteriorate over the years unlike timber. We also use a string line and spirit level to ensure a perfectly straight and square finish.
Step 4
Once we are happy with the rater feet we then fix the soffit board clip tight against the brickwork, this provides a clean finish and sturdy edge where the soffit meets the brickwork.
Step 5
Now we fit the soffit boards, there are a range of different soffits you can choose from, we have used a lightweight hollow soffit system here which provides a cost effective solution.
Step 6
After the soffits are fixed we can now put the fascia boards on, when we fix the fascia boards we use 65mm ring shank nails which are stainless steel so you don't get any rust marks on your fascia boards in months or years to come. We use a double fix in to every rafter to ensure the ultimate fix.
Step 7
Now that the fascias and soffits are complete, we can now install the rainwater system. There is a wide range of styles and colours available this is a prime example of the classic half round system. We fix the gutter brackets 900mm apart to ensure there is enough support for when the gutters are full of water, we also put a slight fall to encourage the water to drain away.
Step 8
After the rain water system is complete we install the 3in1-eaves protector system, this provides a permanent replacement for the old perished felt that we cut away in step 2, it will not deteriorate or perish unlike felt, it also allows the roof space to breath and has flexible combs to act as a rodent guard to keep birds and other unwanted pests out.
Step 9
Now that the installation is complete we put back the roof tiles.
Step 10
Once the roof tiles are on we finish off with a complete clean to complement our first class installation. Not many company's will go this far to achieve the ultimate finish and roofline system and we guarantee to beat any like for like written quote.
